The role of the library in school Our school libraries support students in many ways. The library space itself is often a refuge for students, a safe space where students are comfortable and free to be themselves.

Every Tuesday at lunchtime the Library is open only to pupils who need a safe space, or someone to talk to. The Librarian and Mr Taylor are on hand to offer support and a friendly face. Sometimes joined by other teachers it's a great space to help our pupils deal with the stress of the day or worries they may have. Pupils are welcome to come along and have lunch in the Library.
